Dart is not tame. I can barely get a picture of her. But she is a favorite of Silas. They hang out together a lot.
Silas is a stray. He comes by regularly to sample the food I put out for the strays. He’s getting a little more tame by the day. In fact today, he let me touch him while he was eating. Barely. But it’s a start. Trust takes time.

All the neighborhood cats are definitely staying somewhere out of the heat. They must have banded together and dug themselves a cave somewhere.
Added a homemade platform feeder so the birds can really gorge themselves on seeds. I’ll add some more feeders soon.
Certainly not an elon musk fan, but i was still sad to see the launch scrubbed today. i watched the livestream for about 4 hours today and enjoyed seeing science and space covered. 5/30 at 3:30pm eastern time is the backup launch date.

I used to beleive in stayinh ahead of the hunger and eating pretty much nonstop. But now I’m switching that up. The more I read the more I get behind the idea that we don’t want our bodies constantly processing food, so now I’m only eating once a day.
First new pen in a long long time ( hat tip to linda rondstadt, love that song ). But I preordered this pen pre-virus. First thoughts are I really like it - super wet nib for a Japanese EF.
